Supporting The Dining Room

Bord na Móna Recycling are proud to once again support The Dining Room this Christmas by donating €1,000 towards this great cause. The Dining Room is a Newbridge-based homeless support service that provides hot food and drinks, soup, sandwiches, clothing, and sleeping bags. They also support families struggling to make ends meet.

Christmas can be a difficult time for many and Bord na Móna Recycling is proud to support a hard-working local charity that helps those in need by providing life-changing supports. We look forward to supporting the team at The Dining Room again in 2024 as they continue their very important efforts to make the lives of some of the most vulnerable in the community a little easier.

The services that the Dining Room provide are completely reliant on volunteers and donations. Volunteers are vital to this service and help in many areas such as providing home-cooked food, donations, setting up the tents and food station, providing a friendly ear, and offering company to service users.
