Free Mattress Recycling Day

Bord na Móna Recycling, in partnership with Kildare County Council,  is holding a free Waste Mattress Amnesty Event in Silliot Hill Recycling Centre & Civic Amenity, Kilcullen.

The amnesty event will take place on Sunday September 28th, from 8:30AM – 3PM.

Please see full terms and conditions, quotas and accepted items below :

• The amnesty event will be open only to ordinary members of the public.
• Not open to commercial operators (Incl. charities & voluntary organisations).
• The amnesty only applies to mattresses.
• Bed frames, divans, headboards, duvets etc will not be accepted.
• Max of 6 mattresses per customer. This includes return visits.

All categories that fall outside of this scheme can be recycled as normal when normal service and opening hours resume.
